Pivot Analytics was founded by TJ Wells, a data and analytics leader with a passion for transforming how businesses interact with their data. After successfully leading multiple business intelligence implementations and migrations—including a comprehensive transition from Looker to Sigma —TJ recognized a gap in the market for specialized expertise in modern analytics platforms.
Drawing on 8+ years of experience implementing, optimizing, and managing analytics solutions across diverse industries, Pivot Analytics was established to help organizations navigate the complex journey of BI transformation with confidence and clarity.

TJ Wells, Founder & Principal Consultant
TJ brings extensive experience in business intelligence implementation, with particular expertise in Sigma, Looker, dbt, and the modern data stack. His technical proficiency extends to database platforms including PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Snowflake, allowing him to architect comprehensive data solutions from storage to visualization. As a member of the Google BI Customer Council for 4+ years and a certified dbt developer, TJ combines technical prowess with strategic vision to help organizations maximize the value of their data assets. Prior to founding Pivot Analytics, TJ held leadership positions at Advisr, Health Union, and Pandera Systems, where he successfully led numerous BI implementations and migrations that transformed how these organizations leveraged their data.
